Richard Fulham was born in Verdun (Quebec) on March 26th 1951.
He studied fine
arts at the Vieux-Montreal College
and Ceramics at
the Julien studio
in Quebec. From 1977 to 1989 Richard has worked as a pottery-ceramist. During this period he combines utilitarian productions and some particular research on ceramic, that give as a final result, a very interesting production of one of a kind pieces. Colours and textures are part of his research at this moment. He also participated to many solo and group exhibitions. During this period he will be remarked as an original artist whose work is in constant progression.
During the next few years, he was active in the Arts and Crafts division, working on a larger scale in the corporative markets. Thereafter Richard returns with energy to the artistic-production. Since 1996 now he has been working exclusively on a production of collage-paintings. The works that you will see in this site show all the determination of an artist who controls his technique than creating nothing else than in imaginery impression. Richard has received many grants and awards for the quality and the originality of his collage-works.
